Using this website

This website is run by Hoffmann Services, an Idaho licensed electrical contractor. By using it, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Estimates and prices

Prices and ranges shown anywhere on this site, including the Plan your project tools, are rough planning figures. They are not a bid, quote, offer or contract, and they are subject to change without notice.

Your price for any work is set only by a written estimate from Hoffmann Services after we review your project. Actual costs depend on your plans, materials, site conditions, permits and other factors.

Tools in a test stage

Some features, including the Plan your project tools, are new and still being tested. They may change, stop working or contain errors at any time. They are provided as is, without any warranty.

Permitted use of our content

The prices, ranges, text, tools and other content on this site are provided only for people considering a project with Hoffmann Services, for their own personal use.

You may not copy, collect, scrape, republish or otherwise use our prices or content for any other purpose, including building price lists, comparing or setting competing prices, or training software, whether by hand or with automated tools, without our written permission.

Agreement before viewing prices

Before the Ballpark price and Room by room tools show prices, we ask you to agree to these terms. By agreeing, you confirm that you are planning your own project (or one for your home or client) and will use the prices only to plan work with Hoffmann Services.

Our price ranges are proprietary information of Hoffmann Services. We share them so our customers can plan with current, fair pricing. You agree not to copy, share, publish or collect them, or use them to build price lists, set competing prices or train software.

Your agreement is remembered on your device for 30 days, or until we update these terms.

To protect our prices, our systems watch for automated or unusual use, such as scripts, scraping tools or far more price requests than a customer would make. Addresses that show this kind of activity may be blocked from online prices automatically. If you are blocked by mistake, call us and we will help.

Information we collect

When you send a request through this site, we use your information only to respond to you and to provide our services.

When you agree to view prices, we record the date and time, your IP address, which tool you used, the version of these terms, your browser type and a random record number. We keep this as a record of the agreement and to help prevent misuse of our prices.

When you browse this site, we keep a count of visits: the pages you view, the website or search that brought you here, your device type (phone, tablet or computer), your IP address and a random visitor number saved in your browser. We use this only to see how people find us and which services they look at. We do not use advertising trackers.

We keep these records in a private Google Sheet for up to 2 years, then delete them. We do not sell your information.

Limits

To the extent the law allows, Hoffmann Services is not responsible for decisions made based on online prices or tools before you receive a written estimate.
